Kira Soltanovich has been a staple on the comedy scene for over 17 years. She was a regular on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" for over eight years as the voice of the Photo Booth. Kira has a one hour special streaming now called, "You Did This To Me," and her Showtime special "Here Comes Trouble" is available on Hulu and iTunes.
Kira was recently Donald Faison’s sidekick on the GSN game show Winsanity. She was a recurring comedian on the FOX show Punchline and she’s been a writer for Joan Rivers, Selena Gomez and even Justin Bieber. Her parents are so proud.
Jeff's comedy examines his particular life experiences, which include being the only white kid on his Little League team in Queens, having a Chinese wife, and raising children who call themselves "Jewnese," because it sounds better than "Chine-ish."
Jeff made his national U.S. TV debut on CBS as a comedian on the "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson," appeared in "The Pursuit of Happyness" with Will Smith, on "America's Got Talent," and plays Joey Bishop in "The Rat Pack" tribute show. A frequent guest on KGO Radio, he has opened for and performed with comic legends Robert Klein, Richard Lewis, Robin Williams, Elayne Boosler, Kevin Pollak, Dana Carvey, and more. He is the co-creator of Latkes & Laughs.
Named one of 2013's Best Comics To Watch by the San Francisco Weekly, Ben Feldman is a standup comedian based in San Francisco (originally from the East Coast) who works the Bay Area's top comedy clubs including the San Francisco Punchline, the San Jose Improv, Cobb's Comedy Club, as well as clubs and venues throughout California and beyond.
Ben has worked with Robin Williams, Bobby Slayton, Tom Rhodes, Mike Birbiglia, Chris Kattan, Rick Overton, and Jeremy Hotz to name a few. Ben’s acerbic wit is provocative yet playful, delivered with glints of absurdity as he teeters back and forth along the thick line between aggression and charm. In other words, he’s a heavily sarcastic but likable smart ass.
Latkes are delicious. And the event is called Latkes and Laughs.
So come hungry. Scrumptious latke dinner included!
This isn’t raunchy comedy. (The venue is a Temple, after all.)
Tickets for students 13-21 are only $18.
